Burundaiavia specialists were awarded diplomas in Almaty City Administration for taking of part in firefighting in the foothills of Almaty.
On October 22, 2012 Deputy Mayor of Almaty Maulen Mukhashev congratulated and solemnly presented certificates of appreciation signed by the Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yesimov to the personnel of Airline “Burundaiavia” who to perform firefighting on Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter owned Almaty Rescue Service on August 23-24, 2012.
Remind that late in the evening on August 22, 2012 there was a fire in the Small – Almaty gorge on the mountain “Mokhnatka”. Firefighting was carried out under control of the Almaty Rescue Service. In fire suppression, among other helicopter companies of Kazakhstan, the most active participation was taken by Burundaiavia pilots. They have been made aerial survey of the mountains and taken 35 water withdrawals from the Big Almaty Lake and dropped on the seat of fire. In total, for fire suppression over the past two days has been delivered and dropped from the air 95.5 tons of water.
More than 5 years Almaty Rescue Service cooperates with the Airline “Burundaiavia”, which is always ready to perform special operations as well as to make maintenance on Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter.
Alexander Chebotkin, Michael Lake District, Sergei Snisar Ivan Pravotorov Vladimir Shestakov, Ivan Paul and Andrew Veprentsev were awarded diplomas.
