October 30-31, 2017 - the Airline successfully hosted a corporate seminar of “Kazakhstan Quality Organization” LLC on “Preparation of internal auditors of the quality management system in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2015, ISO 19011: 2011”.
As a result, six heads of departments and services of the airline passed theoretical exams and were certified as “Internal auditor of the quality management system”.
In August 2017, Burundaiavia helicopters started to perform firefighting operations in Indonesia.
In July 2017, Burundaiavia helicopters started to provide passenger and cargo air transportation services in support to Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan.

On 07-08 April 2016 the airline has successfully passed recertification audit for compliance with standard ISO 9001:2008 “Quality Management System. Requirements” and has got the International Certificate for “Providing services for passengers and cargo air transportation, aviation works by Mi-8MTV-1, Mi-8AMT helicopters. Aircraft maintenance services.” issued May 04, 2016 by the Certification Board of TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.

In March 2016, Airline "Burundaiavia" confirmed compliance with the certification requirements for operators of civil aircraft in the Republic of Kazakhstan and received the new Aircraft Operator Certificate No: KZ-01/022 issued March 11, 2016 by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
27.08.2015 – Burundaiavia started to provide food air transportation services for AMISOM UNSOA project in Somalia.
10.06.2015 – “Airline Burundaiavia” JSC and “Kazakh base of aviation protection of forests and forest management services” RGO of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the basis of the tender on public procurement entered into a contract to perform aviation forest works using Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter.

29.01.2015 - “Airline Burundaiavia” JSC and “Almaty Rescue Service” GPO on the basis of the tender on public procurement signed a contract for the provision of services for the operation of a new Mi-8AMT helicopter.
In the period from July to September 2014 in the South of Kazakhstan the weather was unusually hot and dry, which contributed to the emergence of forest and steppe fires in Almaty and Almaty region. Burundaiavia crew consisting of: pilot-in-command A. Chebotkin, co-pilot I. Karakulko, flight engineer S. Snissar took an active part in liquidation of forest fires in the foothills of Zailiyskiy Alatau, adjacent to Almaty city. In the period from July to August 2014 the crew to extinguish the fires was performed 39 flight hours and committed 71 drops by water discharge device with 3 tons of water each for fire hazards. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan appreciated the dedication and hard work of the crew and awarded all crew members with breast signs "FOR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION IN THE RESCUE OPERATIONS."
In May 2014 the airline has successfully passed regulatory audit for compliance with international standard ISO 9001:2008. "Airline Burundaiavia" JSC has the certificate No: 12 100 38233 TMS issued May 04, 2013 from the Certification Board of TÜV SÜD Management Service GmbH.
In May 2014 Burundaiavia helicopters started to provide forest firefighting services in Turkey under a long-term contract with Bordo Mimarlik.
In April 2014 the accuracy of the financial statements of "Airline Burundaiavia" for 2013 was confirmed, prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards, by the independent auditor "KPMG Audit" LLP. Financial statements present fairly the financial position and results of operations and cash flows in accordance with international Financial Reporting Standards.
Airline "Burundaiavia" confirmed compliance with the certification requirements for operators of civil aircraft in the Republic of Kazakhstan and received the new Aircraft Operator Certificate No: KZ-01/001, was issued to the airline on March 14, 2014 by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Technical Department of "Airline Burundaiavia" JSC is certified by the Civil Aviation Committee of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan as an organization of maintenance and repair of Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter. Burundaiavia has the Certificate № 015/13 issued 18.11.2013.

On November 29, 2012 at the Reception House a solemn event took place dedicated to the tenth anniversary of our company, which was attended by numerous friends, Kazakhstani and foreign guests and partners.
Burundaiavia specialists were awarded diplomas in Almaty City Administration for taking of part in firefighting in the foothills of Almaty.
On October 22, 2012 Deputy Mayor of Almaty Maulen Mukhashev congratulated and solemnly presented certificates of appreciation signed by the Mayor of the city Akhmetzhan Yesimov to the personnel of Airline "Burundaiavia" who to perform firefighting on Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter owned Almaty Rescue Service on August 23-24, 2012.
Remind that late in the evening on August 22, 2012 there was a fire in the Small - Almaty gorge on the mountain "Mokhnatka". Firefighting was carried out under control of the Almaty Rescue Service. In fire suppression, among other helicopter companies of Kazakhstan, the most active participation was taken by Burundaiavia pilots. They have been made aerial survey of the mountains and taken 35 water withdrawals from the Big Almaty Lake and dropped on the seat of fire. In total, for fire suppression over the past two days has been delivered and dropped from the air 95.5 tons of water.
More than 5 years Almaty Rescue Service cooperates with the Airline "Burundaiavia", which is always ready to perform special operations as well as to make maintenance on Mi-8MTV-1 helicopter.
Alexander Chebotkin, Michael Lake District, Sergei Snisar Ivan Pravotorov Vladimir Shestakov, Ivan Paul and Andrew Veprentsev were awarded diplomas.
